SPIRITUAL ATTACKS BEGIN IN THE MIND

BELIEVERS:
There is a battle that all believers of Jesus Christ need to know and understand because it is fought against our mind daily. The devil, Satan, is good at fighting this battle against us because many times we are caught not engaged for the battle and the enemy can bring in all kinds of ideas, thoughts, feelings, desires that can make us drift away from God and His Word. This battle against our mind is going on constantly and we need to be aware that it is not going to end until we are with Christ. And if we are going to have victory and not let the enemy defeat us, we need to see what His Word says about the battle. Let’s begin with Paul and what he warns us about.

BELIEVERS:
No longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. Ephesians 4:17-19 NKJV
But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 NKJV

BELIEVERS:
put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind. And put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:22-24 NKJV

A RENEWED MIND: [Ephesians 4:25:32]
BELIEVERS:

Put away lying
Be angry, and do not sin
Nor give place to the devil
Let him who stole steal no longer,
Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you
Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Jesus is our helper in times of trouble :

WARNING:You must be in constant communications with the Holy Spirit to help you in any of these areas, if you are failing, because the moment you open a door to the enemy, “he comes to steal, kill, and destroy,” as Jesus warns in John 10:10; but Jesus also says that He comes to give us life in abundance.

HELP IS AVAILABLE: Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7 NKJV

JESUS HAS GAINED THE VICTORY FOR US: These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NKJV

THE MIND OF CHRIST::
BELIEVERS:
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2 NKJV
For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16 NKJV

BELIEVERS:
You will not be an easy target to Satan because a renewed mind with the mind of Christ is alert to the many attacks of the enemy against the mind and will recognize all his lies, deception, and fears that he would bring against you. You will be able to prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.
