THE APOSTATE CHURCH, ONE WORLD RELIGION, AND THE BODY OF CHRIST — Matthew 24: 9-14

The enemy wants to take away the Bible, prayer, sound doctrine and bring in substitutes
- 2 Peter 2:1-3; 1 Timothy 4:1-3; 2 Tim 3:1-8, 13; Jude 1:3-4, 12-13; 3 John 9-11
The separation between true believer in the light and so-called believers in darkness has begun:
- 1 John 2:18-20; 1 John 4:1-3; 2 Tim. 4:2-4
- They will be under a strong delusion: 2 Thess. 2:9-12; Romans 1:28
- A division between light and darkness: John 3:19-21; John 8:42-44

It will be judged by God — 17:1
All political, religious leaders, and the peoples of the world will commit spiritual fornication with her by accepting all the many idols and “gods” that will be part of her — 17:2
The one world religion will be very rich mingling with the political leadership and the nobility (scarlet color) 17:3-4
The mystical idolatry that this world religion will force people to follow started back at the time of Nimrod and the Tower of Babel and man’s desire to be a “god” — 17:5; Genesis 10:8-10
This world religion will be totally satanic because it will be used by the antichrist to promote his agenda before the last 3 ½ years of this world system — 17:7
This world religion will be used by the antichrist to persecuted, betray believers, and finally have them killed and it will be drunk with the blood of the martyrs — 17:6
This religion will be universal in its control of the peoples of the earth — 17:15
Finally, God will use the antichrist and the 10 kings to destroy her because there will be only one “god” on this earth who will be worshiped and that will be Satan indwelling the antichrist — 17:16-18; Rev. 13:12-15; Daniel 11:36-39

Even though the enemy will cause many in the Christian religion to “fall away” from the truth of the Gospel and to go after his deceptive apostasy joining with the ecumenical movement to form the one world religion, the Body of Christ, His church, will continue to proclaim the gospel of the kingdom all the way to the end — Matthew 24:13-14
What is the Body of Christ?

When we are born again, we are baptized into de Body of Christ — 1 Cor. 12:12-13; Gal. 3:27-28
We are all members of the Body of Christ — Romans 12:4-5; 1 Cor. 10:17; 1 Cor. 12:27
The church is the Body of Christ — Ephesians 1:22-23;
Jesus is the head of the church — Colossians 1:17-18
Jesus said that the Father is in Him and He is in the Father — John 14:11; John 10:38; John 17:11
Jesus said we will be in Him and He in us — John 14:20; John 17:21
He is the vine and we are the branches; we must abide in Him and He in us — John 15:5-7
The one who participates in His flesh and His blood abides in Him and He in them — John 6:56
John said that we abide in Him and He in us — 1 John 3:24; 4:13
Jesus is standing at the door — he who opens will dine with Him and He with them — Rev. 3:20
