THE WRATH OF GOD AND ARMAGEDDON

And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, And is now already in the world. 1 John 4:3

WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER THE RAPTURE ? — JESUS EXPLAINS :

Like in the days of Noah :

“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away.” Matthew 24:37-39

The people on earth at the time of Noah had been taken over by evil to such a degree that there was no hope to save them, and this is how the Almighty God described them: Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the LORD said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth.” Genesis 6:5-7

Like in the days of Lot :

Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot : They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, and they built. Luke 17:21

The people of Sodom were living a “normal life” where they were totally controlled by evil, and they were happy living in the kingdom of darkness, but Lot was the only one NOT accepting it: “and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked” 2 Peter 2:7

Like in the days of the Antichrist :

And authority was given him [the beast] over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Revelation 13:7-8

Somehow, the peoples on earth are not going to be very concerned about the disappearing of Christian believers through the Rapture. They will continue living their lives happily in the Antichrist’s government. They will continue to worship the image of the beast and take his mark. They will be totally taken over by evil and the Antichrist/the beast will be their “god.” There will be no hope of salvation for them — they will suffer the wrath of God coming against the Antichrist and all who follow him.

THE WRATH OF GOD IS POURED ON THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS :

Like in the days of Noah :

When all were in the ark, God closed the door and judgment came down: All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, all that was on the dry land, died. Genesis 7:16-22

Like in the days of Lot :

But on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all [Luke 17:29]. Then the LORD rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the LORD out of the heavens. Genesis 19:24 — their lifestyle was an abomination before God and HE judged them, never to be seen again!

Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed [Luke 17:30]:

Jesus — He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. Revelation 19:15
And the winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, up to the horses’ bridles, for one thousand six hundred furlongs. Revelation 14:20

THE WINEPRESS OF THE WRATH OF GOD : [Isaiah 63:2-4]

Why is Your apparel red, and Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?
“I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the peoples no one was with Me.
For I have trodden them in My anger, And trampled them in My fury; Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, and I have stained all My robes. For the day of vengeance is in My heart.”
He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. Revelation 19:19 — When Jesus appears on the white horse, He has just administered the wrath of God on the peoples of the earth who will follow the beast all the way to the end.

THE SEVEN BOWLS OF THE WRATH OF GOD : [Revelation 16]

Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.”
So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image… Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea… Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood… Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire… Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness… Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared… Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!”

THROUGH THE RAPTURE, BELIEVERS WILL NOT EXPERIENCE THE WRATH OF GOD — LIKE NOAH AND LIKE LOT :

“For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5:9
“Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” Romans 5:9
“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” Revelation 3:10
“To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.” Hebrews 9:28 [THE RAPTURE]

KING JESUS IS COMING BACK TO JUDGE AND TO MAKE WAR :

JESUS APPEARS ON A WHITE HORSE :

Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns.
He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. Revelation 19:11-15

The appearance of Jesus when He appears on the white horse is one of a King who is coming to battle his enemies and destroy them. In His Second Coming, Jesus is not coming like a baby in a manger, but as a great King!

THE ARMY COMING WITH JESUS :

“And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.” Revelation 19:14
“Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all.” Jude 1:14-15
“Thus the LORD my God will come, and all the saints with You.” Zechariah 14:5

His bride, the raptured believers, is coming with Him to the battle and be part of King Jesus’s Millennial Kingdom.

THE ENEMY AND HIS ARMY PREPARE TO FIGHT KING JESUS AND HIS ARMY :

THE ARMY OF THE ANTICHRIST :

“The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings.” Revelation 17:12-14

During his short 3 ½ years reign on the earth, the Antichrist will govern with the help of the ten kings of the main regions of the earth that God will permit to rise up as leaders in these regions and they will give their allegiance to the Antichrist. They will join the Antichrist, as he comes to fight with King Jesus in the Battle of Armageddon — but, they will be forced to go to the battle!

And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty… And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon. Revelation 16:13

Satan will use his army of demons to go and force the ten kings with their armies to come to the battle of Armageddon. They will prepare for the battle:

“And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.” Revelation 19:19
“Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; for there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations…For their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. Joel 3:12-14

Satan’s dream and desire to be like the “Most High God” [Isaiah 14:14] has come down to this battle in the Valley of Megiddo, Israel, where he has prepared the Antichrist, the false prophet and their demonic armies to battle Jesus and His army. Armies of soldiers in the valley are ready for the battle — BUT THEY WILL SUFFER A GREAT DEFEAT !!

These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings. Revelation 17:14

THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON :

Behold, the day of the LORD is coming…Then the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations…Thus the LORD my God will come, and all the saints with You. Zechariah 14:3, 5
“When the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day.” 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9

THE BATTLE OF ARMAGGEDON : THE END OF THE ANTICHRIST AND THE FALSE PROPHET — DESTRUCTION OF THEIR ARMY :

And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. 19:19
Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet… These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
And rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. 19:20-21

BUT, WHERE IS SATAN /THE SERPENT /THE DEVIL /THE DRAGON / LUCIFER ?

Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
And he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished.

GOD SAID TO THE SERPENT IN THE GARDEN : And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.” Genesis 3:15
