GREAT SIGNS BEFORE THE RAPTURE OF BELIEVERS

And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, And is now already in the world. 1 John 4:3
➤ JESUS PROPHESIED THREE EVENTS, WHICH WILL FOLLOW THE GREAT TRIBULATION :

When Jesus gave the disciples the prophecy of the end-time, He revealed to them how the antichrist and the false prophet would come and attack God’s chosen people of Israel and believers in the Body of Christ. It would be the wrath of Satan, which Jesus called “the great tribulation” because of the great fury by which the enemy would come to attack and kill those in Israel and believers of Jesus Christ. Satan would want to eliminate all knowledge of the true God, the Great I AM. But then, Jesus revealed to His disciples three astonishing events, which would follow those days of persecution and tribulation.

FIRST EVENT — FRIGHTFUL SIGNS IN THE HEAVENS AND ON THE EARTH :

Mark: “But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. Mark 13:24-26
Matthew: “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Matthew 24:29-30
Luke: “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Luke 21:25-27
“The signs in heaven and on earth:” All three writers relate the cosmic events that will precede Jesus coming on the clouds, but Luke goes ahead and describes how the people will react to all these signs — with great fear! Men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth!

SECOND EVENT — JESUS COMING ON THE CLOUDS :

Mark: Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. Mark 13:26
Matthew: Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Matthew 24:30
Luke:" Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” Luke 21:27
NOT A SECRET EVENT :
- “Then they will see:” This is not going to be a secret event because Jesus says that “all the tribes of the earth will see Him on the clouds and mourn”. It is going to be a spectacular event where the dome of heaven around the whole earth will be covered by the glory of the Lord and the host of angels proclaiming his glory like they did in His first coming, “And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” Luke 2:13-14

THIRD EVENT — THE RAPTURE !!

Mark: “And then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven.” Mark 13:27
Matthew: “And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Matthew 24:31
Luke: “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Luke 21:28
Paul said it!

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 1 Tess. 4:16-17

The apostle John had a revelation :

“Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.” Revelation 14:15-16
