The Kingdom of Darkness
The Ruler of the Kingdom of Darkness :
Did Satan gain control of this world system when Adam and Eve gave in to his deception and they relinquished their right to have dominion over this Earth when they rebelled?
The Bible is silent, as to the moment Satan gained control over this world system. But Jesus, Paul, Peter, and John have declared that yes, Satan rules the present system of the world.
Satan’s declaration to Jesus — All kingdoms of this world belong to him, Satan. (Luke 4:6)
Jesus declares that Satan is the ruler of the world. (John 12:31; John 14:30; John 16:11)
Paul declares that Satan is the god of this age. ( 2 Corinthians 4:4)
Paul declares that we have been set free from this present evil age. (Galatians 1:4)
John explains where the unsaved are: “We know that we are of God,
and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.”
1 John 5:19 (NKJV)
How does Satan rule in his kingdom?
Paul explains:
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
Ephesians 6:11-12
Peter warns:
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.”
1 Peter 5:8
James shows a way:
“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
James 4:7
John advices:
Test the spirits

The Work of Jesus against the Kingdom of Darkness :
Jesus proclaimed that the one the Son sets free,
he is free indeed.
(John 8:36)
Paul told the Galatians:
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free.”
Galatians 5:1
To the Romans Paul explained:
“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.”
Romans 8:2
To the Colossians Paul declared:
“He [God] has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.”
