The Passover meal was prepared and Jesus sat on the floor, as it was the custom and they all ate from bowls in the middle of the group dipping their bread into them. (Matt. 26:19-20, 23)
The 14th was already considered the unofficial beginning of the Feast of Unleavened Bread so they were eating unleavened bread. (Mat. 26:17)

Finally, like it was first celebrated, nothing from the lambs could stay for the next day. Jesus also had to be taken down from the cross before 6 PM, when day 15th began. (John 19:31)
The next day was a high Sabbath because it was the official start of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Lev. 23:6) and it was on Friday the 15th, not a regular Sabbath.
Jesus fulfilled this feast, as His body never experienced corruption
