AT THE END, THE APOSTATE CHURCH WILL JOIN WITH OTHER WORLD RELIGIONS TO HELP USHER IN THE ANTICHRIST

1. WARNINGS FROM JESUS TO HIS DISCIPLES:
• “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.” [Matt. 24:9]
• This first statement that Jesus makes has to do with the historical persecution believers have endured since His death. Many periods of time throughout the last two thousand years have brought great persecution against believers. The latest period of persecution started at the beginning of the 1900’s and it is still going on. But this is not the persecution that will be brought by the wrath of Satan against believer through the antichrist.


• Jesus continues, “And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.” [Matt. 24:10-11]
• Here Jesus changes to the situation at the end of the age that HE is describing to His disciples [Mat. 24:1-5]. He is warning them that within their group, the church, there is going to be arising factions that will come against each other. False leaders will bring heresies into the church and will cause many to follow after them, and the apostasy of the church, which has started centuries before will be complete.


• “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.” [Matt. 24:12]
• Not only will the situation in the world begin to get out of control morally and physically, but it will penetrate the church, as Christians will grow cold for the lack of the Spirit’s revival.
• The religions of the world will be then ready for the work of the ecumenical movement, which began in the early 1900’s. The religions of the world will supposedly unite to solve all the problems of the world and to bring peace to the world. The apostate Christian church will be right there with them following the likes of Rick Warren, Kenneth Copeland, James Robinson, the Pope, and all the end-time apostles and prophets who have participated in laying out the groundwork for the rise of the one-world-religion together with the catholic church.


• Jesus now warns the disciples of what will happen to true believers at that time, as the Harlot, the one-world-religion begins to control the religious atmosphere of the world with much persecution and killing. Jesus said, “But he who endures to the end shall be saved (saved from the wrath to come).”
• THE HARLOT, ONE-WORLD-RELIGION [Revelation 17]
  Her name: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH
  Her power: “The great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication (spiritual fornication with many other gods). The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. [She will be very rich]”
  Her control: “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.”
  Her satanic actions: “I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.” True believers who separated from the apostate Christian religion will be the target of vicious hatred and attacks against them.
  Her End: “And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire.”


• QUESTION: Why will the antichrist and his ten kings completely destroy the Harlot if she has caused the peoples of the world to follow him as the “savior of the world”?
  ANSWER: Because the antichrist does not need her or her gods anymore. He is coming into the scene as the only “god” to be worshiped and whoever does not do it will be killed [Rev. 13:15] “Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods.” [Daniel 11:36]


• Jesus concludes this part of His warnings about the end by stating the Great Commission “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” [Matt. 24:14] A few days later, He repeated this concept: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations…and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” [Matt. 28:19-21] Amen! Jesus will be with the Body of believers to the end of the age!!
